Dr. Ana Gerdau de Borja Mercereau, FCIArb, is a senior associate at Derains & Gharavi (Paris). She has over 13 years of experience as counsel and secretary to arbitral tribunals in arbitrations under the ICSID, the ICC, the LCIA-MIAC, and the ICDR/AAA rules, and under the main Brazilian institutions’ rules. Her cases have included commercial transactions and joint ventures, large infrastructure projects (in construction, renewable energy, oil & gas and transportation), M&A deals, and projects in real estate and for mining research and exploration. She is a member of the ICC Commission on International Arbitration and ADR and a co-coordinator of Track 5 of the ICC Task Force entitled “Corruption in International Arbitration.” Ana is one of the founders of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative and co-chair of its Executive Committee and Vice-Chair of CIArb’s YMG Global Steering Committee. Ana holds a Ph.D. and an LL.M. (International Law) from the University of Cambridge and works in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Sandrine Giroud is partner with LALIVE. She specialises in domestic and international litigation, with a focus on commercial and financial disputes, fraud and asset recovery, white collar crime, mutual legal assistance (in civil and criminal matters), international sanctions, public international law and human rights. She regularly advises and represents companies and individuals in the recovery and protection of their assets through provisional measures, freezing orders, recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements and awards, cross-border insolvency proceedings and execution of contracts. She also advises entities on governance and compliance issues, notably on ESG issues, as well as international organisations on Swiss law and immunity issues.Sandrine Giroud is a recognised expert in art and cultural property law and in private client disputes, in particular regarding trusts and international family law representing collectors, art market professionals and museums on dispute resolution and transactional matters in art, as well as individuals faced with complex private disputes. She is particularly experienced in sensitive matters and crisis situations requiring the management of reputational and media issues.

Sandrine Giroud is a member of various professional bodies namely the Geneva Bar Association (ODA) of which she is the vice-president, the Swiss Bar Association (FSA/SAV), the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). An officer since 2015, she became a senior officer of the IBA Litigation Committee in 2021. Passionate about art, she sits on the board of various organisations in this field such as the Swiss National Museum, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum and the Art Law Foundation (which she co-directed from 2014 to 2017). She is a past member of the Task Force of the Responsible Art Market Initiative (RAM) and is recognised as a member of the Professional Advisors to the International Art Market (PAIAM). She has been appointed to the advisory board of the newly created Court of Arbitration for Art (CAfA) and is among the selected pool of arbitrators for this court. She is a regular speaker at international conferences and frequently publishes on her fields of expertise.

Linus Hug has been an attorney at MME since 2020, one if not the frontrunning law firm in the Swiss crypto landscape. While he mainly focuses on litigation and arbitration, he has also gained insight into blockchain projects and has advised clients launching their NFT collectibles.

Before joining MME, Linus has been clerking at the Swiss Federal Court in Lausanne for three years. In this position he has drafted decisions regarding appeals in all kind of commercial disputes including national and international arbitration. Linus further continues to serve as a part-time substitute district court judge.

Linus holds a master’s degree for the University of Zurich and an LL.M. from the University of Hong Kong.

During his respective studies, he has assisted at the Chair of Law & Economics with a focus on IP at the ETH Zurich and at the Chair of Arbitration and Dispute Resolution in Hong Kong.

Secretary-General / Director General, Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI); Board member, Court of Arbitration for Art (CAfA); Board member, Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (Hague CAA); Council Member, International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI).

In her capacity as Secretary-General / Director General of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute, Camilla leads the work by setting the general direction for current and future initiatives at the NAI and heads the staff.

The Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) is the premier arbitration institute in the Netherlands, established in 1949. Professor Pieter Sanders, as a founding father of the NAI, as well as Professor Albert Jan van den Berg have chaired the Board of NAI. Professor Sanders was one of the principal drafters of the 1958 New York Convention. He was also recognized for his contributions to the drafting of the 1976 UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The total amount in dispute in all pending cases at the NAI at the end of 2021 amounted to EUR 1,701,834,676.

Prior to joining the NAI, Camilla was Head of Secretariat at P.R.I.M.E. Finance, as well as Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague. Before joining these institutions, Camilla practiced international corporate and commercial law in the Netherlands as well as New York, in private practice.
Camilla studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and International Law at the University of Toronto (Canada). During her time at UofT, she also took on a management business course at the Rotman School of Management. In addition, she completed several post graduate courses, including The Hague Academy of International Law, International Private Law.

Camilla frequently lectures and publishes on the topic of arbitration. She also sits as board member at the Court of Arbitration for Art (CAfA) and at the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (HagueCAA). She is a Council Member at the International Federation for Commercial Arbitration Institutes (IFCAI).
