Katherine Bell is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Group of Schellenberg Wittmer and heads the Construction Practice Group in Zurich as well as being the Co-chair for the ASA Construction Group. Her main areas of practice are domestic and international litigation and arbitration. She advises clients front-end to back-end on complex construction and infrastructure projects and specializes in the resolution of disputes arising out of complex construction, engineering and infrastructure projects as well as commercial tenancy and lease agreements across a variety of industries. She acts as counsel and arbitrator in arbitral proceedings and represents parties in litigation proceedings before Swiss courts as well as before dispute boards and in other types of alternative dispute resolution procedures. In addition to her disputes practice, Katherine regularly advises clients on public procurement matters, contract drafting and negotiation, contract and claims administration and dispute avoidance.
Dilber Devitre's practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration. She is a Counsel in the Disputes Resolution Team at Homburger AG. She regularly advises and represents clients in complex arbitrations and related litigation proceedings. She has acted in over 40 arbitrations under a variety of substantive laws and arbitration rules, with particular focus on investor-State disputes. Dilber also acts as arbitrator. She is experienced in disputes arising, out of agency and distribution agreement, shareholder agreements, post-M&A disputes, insolvency and energy related disputes. Dilber is registered with the Paris Bar and admitted to practice in Switzerland. She obtained a Master's degree in International Business Law from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Diploma in Global Business Law and Governance from Sciences Po, Paris and Columbia Law School, New York. As a member of the Swiss Arbitration Marketing Committee and the Steering Committee of the Young Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration, she is active in several arbitration associations in Asia and Europe. She regularly publishes and speaks at conferences in her areas of expertise.
