Katalin is a former litigation and arbitration practitioner with experience in both small and big law firms. She worked as counsel and tribunal secretary in international arbitrations in both civil and common law jurisdictions. She is dually qualified in Switzerland and California. After her LL.M. at UCLA, she clerked for a US District Court judge and was working for the US arbitration provider JAMS based in Los Angeles. Katalin moved in-house three years ago and is currently Head of HR & Legal at the international publishing house Karger. As such she is, amongst others, advising the Management Board in negotiations, conflict resolution, personnel planning, workplace matters, acquisitions, compliancy topics and innovation.
